Twice in a week, BrooklynDodger(s) came up against the Dodger's ignorance of the Ottoman Empire. Both contacts involved the "Young Turks" and the Armenian Genocide. Over the last decades, everything seems to flow from the Ottoman empire - Palestine, Bosnia, Iran, Iraq... Yet the Dodger got through many years of education knowing little more than the name.
