Gov. Won't Get a Ticket for His Ride, Police Say

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will not receive a citation from police for his motorcycle accident in Brentwood on Sunday that left him sporting 15 stitches on his upper lip, authorities said Wednesday.

Los Angeles police spokesman Jason Lee said no officers observed Schwarzenegger riding the motorcycle so the department would not issue a citation

BrooklynDodger Comments: The scofflaw attitude toward traffic rules by law and order types is breathtaking. Here's a dude, without a license to drive a motorcycle, and a second license to drive a motorcycle with a sidecar, with a 12 year old son in the side car, who cracks up the bike. It didn't say whether they had helmets. And, he had a police escort. The Governator said that a woman driver saw him coming, but pulled out of her driveway in front of him so as to cause the collision.
