Glimmer of Hope on Freedom - Browser Musings

In 2002, President Bush signed a classified executive order granting permission to the National Security Agency to spy on U.S. citizens wthout obtaining warrants. Do national security needs trump privacy rights in these times?

BrooklynDodger was surprised and delighted that the Detroit News cyber poll found a substantial majority in favor of privacy rights, and against George Bush reading their mail. Although the cybersurvey voters are likely heavy on convservatives, they are likely more of the libertarian variety.

BrooklynDodger now is in two browsers. Firefox allows blocking and posting varieties of graphics into blogger. Internet Explorer doesn't, but IE does a better job of saving and sending webpages and downloaded pdf's. But Firefox keeps a log of the downloaded files so you can open and read the pdf's rather than have to go looking for them.
