Detroit News College Graduates Disrespect Learning

BrooklynDodger reviewed election exit polling data. Voters with graduate education voted in the majority for Kerry, those with a bachelor's degree only voted for Bush. So, a survey on whether people felt the degree, assumed to have some relation to learning, was worthwhile, is likely skewed away from those who felt it worth taking graduate courses.

BroooklynDodger concedes that noting the misspelling in the News survey of the value of college degrees is a cheap shot: the Dodger makes lots of mistakes when direct messaging without spell correct. Nevertheless, the Dodger notes that the common denominators of the attacks on teachers and auto workers include union representation and seniority protection [tenure.]

The Dodger is saddened that the majority who answered this question, which implies they got a degree, think it wasn’t worth their time [and money.] It would have been nicer to separate money and time, because most people think their time in school was well spent, at a minimum in terms of good times. [Sometimes, good times offset by driving the porcelain bus the next morning.]

Comments: If you want to bother getting a degree you should become an MEA teacher otherwise you should join the UAW and hang bumpers on cars. These are two professions where one can earn allot for doing very little.
