Underage drinking in Bloomfield Hills? BrooklynDodger is shocked. On the other hand, if cops smelled alcohol 50 yards away, the kids must have been throwing full bottles at passing cars…wasteful.

Gisela Zetsche, wife of the incoming head of DaimlerChrysler AG, has entered a plea of no contest to a misdemeanor charge that she hosted a raucous late-night party in June where teens drank alcohol at her Bloomfield Township home.
A no-contest plea is treated as a guilty plea for sentencing purposes.
…According to the police report, officers were dispatched to Zetsche's home June 18 after neighbors complained of a loud party where teens were "throwing items at passing vehicles and drinking alcohol."
Police arrived shortly before midnight and reported being able to smell alcohol 50 yards from the home. More than 20 teens suspected of underage drinking were arrested.
A court date for Zetsche's sentencing has not been set. She could face up to a $500 fine.
