Northwest Strike Fallen From the Media

The Northwest strike has fallen from view in the Times print and the Detroit Free Press website. Google news finds a few references in Washington State in the the last news cycle.

There's no data on how Northwest is functioning, and how it normally functions. There's no information on where the off-site maintenance is being done, by whom. Other than references to how much Northwest spent preparing for the strike there's no analysis of what that cost might have done to cash flow and the bankruptcy-concessions picture. What is the cash flow of out-of-town mechanics staying in hotels, protected by security guards and transported to the air port?

Even labor blogs are two days behind the news cycle. Most of that discussion is revolves on blaming the victims, and whether these are innocent victims or guilty victims.
