Graduation Rates - NCAA data

Graduation rates among scholarship athletes are not much interest. They should do better than the run of the mill – they are paid to go to school, and they get tutors. School to school comparisons on overall graduation rates are instructive.

Blogspot won’t let these tabular forms get thru. So, the data below are quite truncated. Sometimes more interesting are the rates outside: Wisconsin is not so great, Ohio State is really bad, USC is not so bad. That's for the general student body.

First, nearly everywhere the women do better than the men.

Second, Columbia had the worst numbers in the Ivy League, worse than Duke and Stanford.

Third, if you convert these to percent not graduating, the flunkage rate, or maybe just quittage rate, varies maybe 4 fold.
