Hotel Rwanda is a great movie, Don Cheadle should get the best actor. The genius of this movie is letting you know the horror exists, but keeping it off stage so you can continue the entertainment through a saturday night. In comparison to those below, no plot and continuity issues.

Being Julia is an entertainment better not to think about in detail. It's mainly about Brit accents and Brit theatricality. First, they have a serious problem with how old Annette Bening might be. Sometimes she's the 45 talked about in the text, sometimes she looks 60. Especially in the final play scene. Second, they have a problem with what color her hair is, it changes from scene to continuous scene, creates lots of continuity issues. Third, the blond chick has Prince Charles' teeth; it's a nice touch she is boffing both Benning's husband and lover and still gets ahead. Fourth, it's confusing that we start with the upper class dude dumping Annette like they've been together, then later he dumps her because he's gay. Finally, the whole last scene, in which Annette is made up to look a really sexy sixty, makes no sense.

BrooklynDodger agrees with Frank Rich that Sideways is the most overrated movie of the year. The movie correctly portrays how pretentious and boring wine talk is, but we still have to listen to it. Madsen looks pretty sitting and listening, but she has one monologue. The sidekick somehow crossing miles of California roads naked to get back to the motel without being seen and stopped makes no sense.
