BrooklynDodger did wonder how there was such a swing in vote between the early and late results in the Detroit mayoral election.

The Dodger's concern is that reelection of Kilpatrick will give the outstaters one more excuse to punish Detroit citizens.

[PS: Firefox seems to carry graphics through into Blogger postings, while Explorer won't. On the other hand, Explorer sends web pages more easily than Firefox.

Losing mayoral challenger Freman Hendrix on Tuesday filed for a recount in all 720 Detroit precincts, saying a review is needed to bring the city together again. The effort could cost the city as much as $500,000. Should there be a recount?
