Larry Brown and his agent, Joe Glass, met with Pistons owner Bill Davidson and team president of basketball operations Joe Dumars on Wednesday, but Brown's future with the team remains unresolved.
After meeting at a location away from the Palace, the sides are expected to talk more today by phone.

"We had a real good meeting and talked about a number of internal things," said Brown, who added that he thought it would be Dumars and Glass talking today.

Brown has returned to his vacation home in the Hamptons where he has been resting, on doctor's orders, after surgery earlier this month.

"I hadn't seen Joe in a long time, since the draft," Brown said. "And I hadn't seen Mr. D. since prior to Game 7 (of the NBA Finals). So it was nice to get a chance to see them again.
